SUBJECT: | Identities Sought for Couple Recorded in Act of Motor Vehicle Theft | ||

GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On August 27, 2019 at approximately 5:00 PM, a suspect couple was recorded on surveillance video during the act of committing the motor vehicle theft of a dark green 1995 Nissan Sentra compact 4-door sedan. The vehicle was stolen while it had been left unlocked with the keys in it while parked in the parking lot of Walgreens, located at 2200 Memorial Court in Kingsport.
The suspects appear to be a white male and a white female. A grainy photo of the suspects, taken from surveillance video footage, has been included in this release. A clip of the actual footage has also been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the link below: Anyone who recognizes either of them is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D.
