SUBJECT: Kingsport Woman Charged with Burglary & Public Intoxication

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, the Kingsport Police Department responded to a burglary at Auto Solutions Center on Lynn Garden Drive. The business owner observed a white female in a blue tank top and shorts exit the office area of Auto Solutions Center, even though the establishment was closed. The owner confronted the female, who then fled the scene. Patrol officers arrived on scene and located a female matching the previous description in the area of Sunset Avenue. The owner of Auto Solutions identified the woman, and officers arrested her and transported her to the Kingsport City Jail, where she was identified as Tammy Seaver, a 45-year-old Kingsport resident.
Tammy was charged with one (1) count of burglary and one (1) count of public intoxication. Tammy remains incarcerated in the Sullivan County Jail at the time of this news release.
