Kingsport seeking applicants for various positions

The City of Kingsport is currently seeking applications for nearly 25 open positions within various departments in the city.

Positions include, but are not limited to Police Officer, KATS Bus/Van Driver, Street Maintenance Equipment Operator, Pipelayer and Lifeguard. To see the full list of positions available, visit www.kingsporttn.gov and click on “Jobs” at the top of the screen. New positions are posting daily.

• The Kingsport Police Department is offering a sign-on bonus of $10,000 over a three-year period to post certified police officers (from any state) who are hired.
• Street Maintenance Equipment Operators must apply by November 12 to be considered.
• Lifeguard positions filled through staffing agencies contracted with the City of Kingsport must apply online to be considered.
