SUBJECT: Kingsport PD Responds to a Stabbing on Mapleoak Lane

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Kingsport Police Department responded to Indian Path Hospital about an assault that had occurred in the 700 block of Mapleoak Lane. Officers determined that Noah Montecinos had been stabbed with a knife by twenty-two (22) year old Gage Wilson. Gage Wilson was located at arrested in the 100 block of Witherspoon Drive near Fort Henry Drive with the assistance of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder. Noah Montecinos is currently being treated at a local hospital for the injuries he sustained. No further details will be released at this time.
