Kingsport Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee in need of volunteers
If you’d like to make a difference in your hometown, the City of Kingsport needs volunteers to serve on the Kingsport Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee.
The Kingsport Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee studies the parks and recreation needs of the community and makes recommendations to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen in regard to recreational programs, facilities, special equipment, and sites needed or desirable for use in occupying the recreational time of the citizens of Kingsport.
For more information about the committee, please contact Assistant City Manager Michael Borders at 423-229-9486.
To apply for this board (or any other city boards and commissions), simply visit ServeKingsport (www.servekingsport.com) and answer the short questionnaire. Here you will be asked why you wish to volunteer, your previous volunteering experience and which boards and commissions interest you. Completing the survey does not guarantee an appointment.
