Kingsport Parks and Recreation hosting Kids Creator Camp
The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Kids Creator Camp at the Borden Park Community Center this Winter Break.
The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on December 30 through January 3 (excluding January 1). Children ages 6 to 12 can register and the cost per child is $80 for city residents and $90 for non-city residents.
Participants will receive a 1,000-piece Lego set to use and keep. Staff is asking participants not to bring Lego bricks from home.
Creator Camp is an engaging program where children express their creativity through hands-on building activities using Lego bricks. The camp encourages teamwork and innovation as children design and construct unique Lego creations, tackle fun challenges, and explore basic engineering concepts.
With a mix of guided projects and free-build time, this camp provides a fun and educational experience that inspires imagination and creativity.
