Kingsport Carousel reopens to the public
The popular downtown attraction was closed for routine maintenance
After being closed for approximately one month, the City of Kingsport is pleased to announce the Kingsport Carousel has reopened to the public.
The carousel and gift shop were closed during the month of January while employees performed routine maintenance on the attraction. Hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Kingsport Carousel (320 Clinchfield Street) is one of the most magical destinations in town, offering residents and guests a traditional carousel ride with more than 30 hand-carved animals, including dogs and cats, a dragon, tiger, and zebra and of course a variety of horses.
Since opening in July 2015, the Kingsport Carousel has hosted more than 500,000 riders from all 50 states and beyond. The carousel is open to the public year-round and all rides are $1.
