Kingsport announces Eastman Road Resurfacing Project

The City of Kingsport is pleased to announce Eastman Road – from Stone Drive to the bridge over Lincoln Street – is scheduled to be resurfaced this month.

Summers-Taylor Inc. will be the contractor performing the work for the City of Kingsport. Cost of the project is approximately $2.28 million. The contractor anticipates installing signage and mobilizing equipment later this week.

The milling and paving work will be performed at night (Sunday thru Thursday 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and take approximately one month to complete (weather dependent).
