Kanopy is now available at the Kingsport Public Library

Video streaming service offers more than 30,000 movies & documentaries

The Kingsport Public Library is excited to announce library card holders now have access to Kanopy – a video streaming service offering more than 30,000 critically acclaimed movies, documentaries and kid friendly features.

Kanopy partners with studios like A24, The Criterion Collection, PBS and more to bring your library access to thoughtful entertainment. Categories include action, comedy, drama, horror, science fiction, TV series, documentaries, children’s movies and more.

Card holders can stream Kanopy on any of their favorite devices, such as mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android, your desktop computer and via SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV and Fire Stick.

To get started, visit www.kanopy.com/en/kingsporttn and select the “Add Library Card” button on the lower left corner of the screen. Enter your library card credentials, create an account using your preferred email and then begin streaming a new movie or documentary.

Library card holders will get 15 tickets each month to watch movies and shows via the Kingsport Public Library account. Kanopy Kids titles do not use tickets, so you can watch as many kid-friendly titles as you wish!
