Christmas in Kingsport continues this week with celebrations in Glen Bruce and Centennial Park, a visit by our jolly old St. Nick and for those not a fan of Christmas, a chance to hang out with the Grinch.

Events coming up later this week include:
DECEMBER 8
Downtown Walking Tour (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) – Take a self-guided tour of Downtown Kingsport’s most cheerful holiday spots. Begin at the nativity scene and take your time strolling through downtown and hearing from the Lamplight Theatre crew.
DECEMBER 9
Centennial Park – Santa Claus, the Grinch and caroling by the Lamplight Theatre singers will take place in the park from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Beginning at 7 p.m. there will be snow created in the park and hot chocolate offered by the Kingsport Neighborhood Commission.
DECEMBER 10
Glen Bruce Park – Snow is coming to the park from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Eric Donahue Photography will be on hand snapping pictures of you and your loved ones in the snow among the decorated trees.
