Christmas Happenings at the Kingsport Public Library
The Kingsport Public Library is getting into the Christmas spirit by offering a variety of fun and festive activities throughout the month of December. So, be sure to mark your calendars, don your favorite Christmas sweater and head down to the library to enjoy these holiday programs.
Holiday Cross Stitch Class (December 10 at 6 p.m.) – Come learn how to make your own personal cross stitch ornament. All of the materials will be provided (while supplies last), and you can choose from a variety of designs. For ages 18 and older.
Christmas Ornaments (December 11 at 3:30 p.m.) – In this workshop you’ll make your own Christmas ornament from a variety of styles and then take home to help decorate your tree. All materials will be provided (while supplies last). This family-friendly activity is open for people of all ages.
Craft with Me (December 14 at 2 p.m.) – Let’s enjoy the holiday season by spending an afternoon making crafts with your fellow creatives. This program is ideal for children ages 3 to 5. All materials will be provided (while supplies last).
Holidays Around the World (December 19 at 4 p.m.) – Join the library staff in experiencing food, crafts and games from different cultures from around the world. Learn about Christmas, Hannukah, Diwali, Santa Lucia Day and more! This program is for people of all ages.
