Christmas Connection returns to MeadowView Conference Center
Free event celebrates 45 years of artisans and crafters
For nearly half a century, Christmas Connection has hosted the region’s best arts and crafts vendors and celebrated their work during the holiday season. This year, the two-day event returns to the MeadowView Conference Resort and Convention Center.
The free holiday event will be held in the main convention hall (1901 Meadowview Parkway) on November 15 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on November 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Connection is sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts.
“It’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, which means now is the perfect time to come to Meadowview and begin your holiday shopping,” said Kristie Leonard, special events and cultural arts manager for the city. “Whether you’ve been enjoying the Christmas Connection for years or are trying it out for the first time, this event is sure to have something for you.”
Christmas Connection – now in its 45th year – offers a variety of unique gifts just in time for the holiday season. Some of the items available include country crafts, home décor, fine wood and leather crafts, handmade soaps and lotions, jewelry, ornaments, stained glass, wheel-thrown pottery, baked goods, pet accessories and much more.
In addition to a fine selection of arts and crafts, visitors can partake in the Connection Café, where you can enjoy a variety of country favorites.
