Can you find Ryder the elusive Christmas Elf?

The Christmas season is almost upon us and rumor has it, Ryder the Elf is planning to sneak aboard one of our transit buses or vans next month and go shopping across the Model City.

However, if you manage to find the elusive little Elf, he’ll reward you with a special gift you can enjoy the entire month of January.

The Kingsport Area Transit Service is again hosting its annual “Ryder the Elf” promotion during the month of December. Each weekday between December 1 and December 23, KATS will give a free January bus pass or Dial-A-Ride ticket book to the lucky person who finds Ryder the Elf.

Ryder will be hiding on different bus routes or vans each day, and you’ll need a keen eye to find the little sneak.

If you do manage to find Ryder, show him to your driver or bring him into the KATS Transit Center (located at 900 East Main Street) and you will win a free January bus pass or Dial-A-Ride ticket book.

Note – there is a limit of one elf discovery per person.
