Kingsport Police Detectives are attempting to identify two suspects in the fraudulent use of a debit card at two local gas stations.
On January 9, 2014, at least one suspect came to be in possession of a stolen debit card. At approximately 5:55 PM on that day, the card was fraudulently used at Food City Gas & Go, located at 1205 North Eastman Road in Kingsport. Then at 6:30 PM on the same day, the card was fraudulently used at Murphy USA, located at 3100 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. A photo of two individuals using the card to fill up a vehicle is included in this release. These individuals are a white male and a white female. The vehicle they are in appears to be a compact or mid-sized black four door wagon or sport utility vehicle. It has a moon roof, and a luggage rack. The windshield appears to be smashed on the passenger’s side. Anyone who can identify either of these individuals is asked to contact the K.P.D.
