Kingsport City Schools announce 2014 5th Annual Back to School Expo

Kingsport City Schools, Kingsport Town Center and TimesNews.net are hosting the 2014 5th Annual Back to School Expo held on Tuesday, July 29 from 3 – 6 p.m. located at Kingsport Town Center highlighting over 90 vendors/exhibitors to parents/guardians and students of Kingsport City Schools and to the community.
There will be free entertainment, demonstrations and lots of activities for the kids found on the upper and lower levels of the mall. The event will kick-off at 2:55 p.m. with the Star Spangled Banner and the Dobyns-Bennett High School Air Force JROTC Color Guard located in the Sears Court with various entertainment including demonstrations continuing until 6:30 p.m. In addition, there will be a Back to School Fashion Show at 4:30 p.m. on the upper lever at the top of the escalators.
Parents/guardians will be able to pick up all of the information needed to get their child(ren) started back to school. They will also have the opportunity to sign them up for programs and activities for things to do this fall located throughout Kingsport.
Various stores within the mall will offer discounts during the event. The discount listing will be provided at the Kingsport Town Center table located in the Sears Court.
Vendors range from Kingsport City Schools services and school programs; health, nutrition and safety related services; animal welfare/pet adoption; fiancĩ for college; tutoring, library/literacy programs; pre-school programs; wellness activities; arts, sports and recreation activities; childrens services and various other vendors providing interactive activities, demonstrations and prizes.
