GENERAL NARRATIVE |
Shortly after midnight on November 11, 2014, a white male suspect cut a security cable and stole a Baja Warrior Mini-Bike ($650 value) from the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company, located at 2606 Minnich Trail in Kingsport. At approximately 4:15 AM, the same suspect returned to the Tractor Supply parking lot and stole four Kohler engines ($430 value each/total value $1,720) after unbolting them from log splitters.
K.P.D. previously released photos and video showing a white male and a silver vehicle suspected to be involved in the crime. Additional surveillance video clips and photos are now available. The new videos shows two white male suspects exiting a silver vehicle in a parking lot in the Lynn Garden area the day after the theft. In the video, the suspects can be seen removing one of the Kohler log splitter engines from the trunk of the car and attempting to sell it. The suspects’ vehicle is now believed to be a silver 2-door Honda Accord with a dent in the hood, a sunroof, and a spoiler on the trunk lid. New photos of the two white male suspects and the silver Honda are included in this release. The two new video clips have been made available for viewing on the K.P.D.
