KINGSPORT - View the film, “The Americans on D-Day” by Living Battlefield at the Kingsport Public Library on Thursday, November 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  Dobyns-Bennett history teacher, David Hoover, will provide an introductory talk.

“The Americans on D-Day” is a tour film with battlefield historian, Ellwood von Seibold.  Visit the sites of major action, hear from veterans who were there and view the events through the soldier’s eye.  Some “extras” of the film include discussion of some of the weapons carried by both sides.  This program is free and open to the public.
