Waterline work to disrupt traffic, water service on Fort Henry Drive
KINGSPORT – Waterline repairs and the addition of fire hydrants and meters will close a lane of traffic along the 4200 block of Fort Henry Drive on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, March 25th through March 27th.
Lane closures on Wednesday and Friday will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. On March 26th, lane closures will occur from midnight to 4 a.m., with water service suspended in the immediate vicinity of the 4200 block early Friday morning. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternative routes on Wednesday and Friday in particular. As always, motorists should use the utmost caution in the work zone.
