Temporary Lane Closure along Industry Drive

A section of Industry Drive will be closed next week for a contractor to perform sanitary sewer rehab work for the City of Kingsport.

The section of Industry Drive to be closed will be the northbound lane from just past Wheatly Street to Brickyard Park Drive. The closure will begin January 8 and continue through January 13.

Morgan Contracting, Inc. will be the contractor performing this work. The work is part of Kingsport’s Phase 1 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project of 2022. The construction zones will be marked by signs and directed by automated flagger devices (when required). Motorists are asked to use caution in this area during this time.
