Road Closures for the Second Mile Road Race

The Second Mile two-mile road race will take place in downtown Kingsport this Sunday (April 30) beginning at 6 p.m.

Road closures will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will remain in place for the duration of the event. The impacted streets include Sullivan, West New, East New, Cherokee, Clay, Press, Revere and Church Circle.

The race will consist of two laps of a flat and fast one mile loop. Electronic timing and race management will be done by We Run Events. In addition to the road race, there will be inflatables and other outdoor activities for children.

The race is presented by First Baptist Church of Kingsport and proceeds will go to support the Providence Medical Clinic.
