| The Kingsport Police Department is request assistance from the public in identifying a suspect in a theft.
On September 9, 2013 at approximately 3:45 PM, an individual was at McDonald’s Restaurant located at 1501 Lynn Garden Drive in Kingsport. She left her wallet on the counter and walked over to the drink filling station. When she realized what she had done, and returned to retrieve her wallet, it was gone. Surveillance video captured a white female suspect taking the wallet. The video footage is of extremely poor quality; however, it is all that was supplied by McDonald’s. A still photo of the suspect is included in this release. If anyone is able to identify this individual, please contact the K.P.D.
