Kingsport Police Detectives are turning to the public for help in identifying a felony shoplifter.
On September 10, 2013 at approximately 8:00 PM, a suspect shoplifted $673 in merchandise from Belk Department Store in the Kingsport Town Center (Fort Henry Mall) located at 2101 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. The suspect is a heavy-set white female with short dark hair. A photograph taken from surveillance video is included in this release, but the actual surveillance video is available for viewing and distributing by the media. Detectives are asking the public to contact them in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 if they know who the suspect is or where she can be located.
