Kingsport Police Detectives are requesting assistance in identifying a female felony shoplifting suspect.
On October 8, 2013 at approximately 10:30 PM, a female suspect shoplifted a flat screen television, valued at approximately $1,000.00 from Wal-Mart, located at 3200 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. She committed the felony theft by towing the television in a shopping cart behind her motorized scooter right out the front door of the store. She was caught in the act on the store’s surveillance footage. From the video, she appears to be a white female, in her 50s, heavy set, with gray hair, and wearing glasses. A photo taken from the video footage is included in this release. The actual footage is available for viewing by the media.
