| SUBJECT: | Kingsport Police Detectives Searching for Suspect in Homicide Investigation | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
| On January 9, 2015 at approximately 5:30 PM Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to a report of shots fired at Allandale Falls Apartments, located at 1000 University Boulevard in Kingsport. Responding officers located two victims, both of whom had sustained gunshot wounds, inside one of the apartments. One of the victims, an adult white male, was deceased; however, the other victim, an adult white female, was transported to Holston Valley Medical Center by Sullivan County E.M.S. for emergency treatment of life-threatening injuries. Both victims had been residing at the apartment.
Detectives from the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division were summoned to the scene and began a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. During the course of their investigation Marvin McClore was developed as a suspect in the shooting. While many questions remain unanswered, at this point it appears that this incident was not a random act of violence and looks to be domestic in nature. A warrant was obtained charging Mr. McClore with one count each of First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder. Mr. McClore was last seen at one of his previous residences located at 3711 North Roan Street, Apartment B-13, in Johnson City; however, he was last known to reside at 734 Ordnance Drive, Apartment F-4, in Church Hill. He is a 42 year old black male, 6 feet tall, between 175 and 200 pounds, with brown eyes and short salt and pepper hair. He has a mustache and goatee and sometimes wears glasses. At the time of last contact he was wearing jeans, a black long-sleeved shirt, black athletic shoes, and a knit cap bearing the Chicago Bears logo. He is still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who may see him or know his whereabouts is advised not to approach him, but rather call Detectives in the K.P.D.
