GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On October 12, 2014 at approximately 3:30 PM, Kingsport Central Dispatch was notified of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Golda’s Mart, a convenience store located at 813 North Eastman Road in Kingsport. Officers from the Kingsport Police Department’s Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions responded to the scene. Their subsequent investigation revealed the following:A white male suspect entered the store brandishing a dark colored revolver and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied with his demands, and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money in a white, early 2000s model Honda Pilot sport utility vehicle with a luggage rack on the roof. No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid 20s, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches in height, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm. He should be considered armed and dangerous. A photo of the suspect and his getaway vehicle are included in this release.
