| SUBJECT: | K.P.D. Detectives Requesting Help Identifying Suspect Cashing Counterfeit Check | ||

| GENERAL NARRATIVE |
| On August 30, 2014 at approximately 6:45 PM a black male suspect cashed a counterfeit check at Food City, located at 300 Clinchfield Street in Kingsport. The check was written for $383.11 and was fabricated to mimic a Sonic Drive-In payroll check.
A photo of the suspect captured on surveillance video is included in this release.
