Christmas Happenings at the Kingsport Public Library
The Kingsport Public Library is getting in the Christmas spirit by offering a variety of fun and festive activities throughout the month of December. So, be sure to mark your calendars, don your favorite Christmas sweater and head down to the library to enjoy these holiday programs.
Holiday Card Making (December 19 at 6 p.m.) – Stop by the library with you and your family to make your own, personalized Christmas card using the wide variety of paper, markers, crayons and colored pencils. This family-friendly event is open to all ages.
Christmas Crafts (December 20 at 4 p.m.) – Join the library staff in an afternoon of Christmas crafting using an assortment of construction paper, yarn, pipe cleaners and colored pencils. At the end of the day, you’ll go home with the perfect large ornament for display or gifting. Open for grades K-5.
Craft and Chat: Marble Christmas Trees (December 21 at 12 p.m.) – Learn how to make beautiful, marbled Christmas tree decorations using only wood, nail polish and water. The library will have all the materials you need while supplies last. Open to adults.
