Against a backdrop of breathtaking visuals and a hypnotic soundtrack, Big Astronomy introduces the diverse people who push the limits of technology, enable scientific discovery and expand what we know about the Universe using state-of-the-art telescopes. Along the way, you’ll meet an inspiring cast of astronomers, engineers, technicians, and support staff who keep these mega-machines running.

Your Art, Your Headshot: Build Visibility Without Losing Authenticity

Your art speaks volumes, but do collectors, buyers, and galleries truly know you? Creatives will learn how elevated headshots and branding images build visibility, connection, and trust without sacrificing authenticity. This hour-long session, presented by Yevette Lynn Photography, will explain headshots, why they matter, and how to represent professional work through elevated visuals and consistent storytelling. From artist bios to social media, every touchpoint influences how others perceive a creative’s work and what potential clients and collectors are willing to pay. Introverts: make note that an “honest-to-you” headshot allows your art — and your story — to speak when you’d rather not.
The session will be held in hybrid form. Online attendees will receive a Zoom link 24 hours ahead of the session. An in-person option is also available, and will include an “after party” with pizza and an optional, specially-priced headshot service in Yevette Lynn’s studio at Create Appalachia. Details will be provided via email to those who register to attend in person.
Yevette Lynn is a professional photographer living in Church Hill, Tennessee, with headshot studios in Kingsport and Johnson City. Her specialty is crafting elevated headshots for established professionals—including executives, C-suite leaders, entrepreneurs, and artists—who want to elevate their personal brand identity. In addition to headshots, Yevette creates branding assets that support visibility, credibility, and personal style across digital and print platforms.
