U Da Man 5k Road Race to require temporary street closures

KINGSPORT – Permission has been granted for the U Da Man 5k road race in Kingsport at 5:00pm, on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

The following streets are approved for closure during the race: Lamont, E. Sullivan, Ross, Chestnut, Federal, Pine, Birch, Willow, Garden, Pineola, Greenfield, Midland, Fairfield, Hermitage, Newbern, Carolina, and Borden.

The Police Department will be staffing the event with off duty officers and there will be an on-site supervisor to address any unexpected issues that might arise.
