Prehistoric Exhibits hosts Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show
KINGSPORT — Prehistoric Exhibits Company will be hosting its First Ever Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show on November 12th through the 14th of 2010. Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Prehistoric Exhibits is located in Downtown Kingsport at 321 Broad St. In addition to gems, minerals, and jewelry there will be artifacts, lectures, fossils, beads, jewelry repair, exhibits, and door prizes. Door prizes will be given out every two hours although you must be present to win.
Admission is only $3 admission with free parking.
This event will showcase dealers from six different states, who can also identify your own, gem, or fossil. Lectures on Paleontology, Geology, and local Archaeology will be offered every day at 5 p.m., and of course, the 38 bart T-Rex exhibit, named Fort Peck Rex, is well worth the admission price and on permanent display at Prehistoric Exhibits.
Prehistoric Exhibits moved to downtown Kingsport from Cookeville, Tennessee with a vision of becoming a part of a regional interest for Geological, Paleontological, and Archaeological sites and programs.
