General Narrative |
| Two individuals have been arrested on drug charges after the execution of a search warrant.
On July 30, 2013 at approximately 7:30 PM, Kingsport Police Department’s Vice Detectives, with strategic support from the K.P.D. S.W.A.T. Team, executed a search warrant at 1138 Fairview Avenue in Kingsport. The warrant authorized the search of the dwelling as well as the person of Pearl Jones, who resides there. A quantity of Hydrocodone was found at the scene. Additional evidence to indicate Ms. Jones was selling narcotics from the residence was also located. $1,200 in U.S. currency was seized. A second individual named Timothy Farley was also present and stated that this residence was his home address. Drug paraphernalia commonly utilized to ingest narcotics was located under the couch cushion where he was sitting. Pearl Jones was arrested and charged with the following: 1) Possession of Schedule IV Drugs for Resale within 1000 Feet of a School 2) Maintaining a Dwelling where Narcotics are Sold, Stored, or Used Timothy Farley was also arrested and charged with the following: 1) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia For additional information, please contact: Ptl.
