The execution of a search warrant has resulted in an individual being arrested for multiple felony drug violations.
On September 12, 2013 at approximately 9:00 PM, Kingsport Police Department Vice Detectives, assisted by the K.P.D. S.W.A.T. Team, executed a search warrant at the residence of Jeffrey Glen Ploch, located at 1448 Miller Street in Kingsport. This search warrant was the direct result of an ongoing drug investigation. Subsequent to the search, multiple narcotics were located including a white powder substance believed to be Bath Salts, other drugs identified as Suboxone and Xanax, a baggie of Marijuana, and assorted pipes and pill crushers commonly associated with the use of these drugs. Mr. Ploch was home at the time and was arrested for the following offenses: 1) Felony Possession of Schedule I (Bath Salts) 2) Felony Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone) 3) Felony Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) 4) Felony Possession of Schedule VI (Marijuana) 5) Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Pipes and Pill Crushers) For additional information, please contact: Ptl.
