The City of Kingsport Human Resources Department is currently accepting applications for Police Officer.
The Kingsport Police Department will be conducting Police Applicant Testing on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Police Applicant Testing is the process designed to select qualified individuals to become Kingsport Police Officers. Police Applicant Testing is a multi-step process initially consisting of a Written Examination and a Physical Agility Evaluation. Top candidates will then move forward to an interview panel and ultimately be placed on an eligibility roster to be interviewed by the K.P.D. Command Staff to fill vacancies within the department. In order to participate in Police Applicant Testing, interested individuals must have an application on file with the City of Kingsport Human Resources Department. Applications must be made online by Friday, October 18, 2013. Applicants will receive correspondence from Human Resources prior to the day of the test with specific instructions regarding the testing process.
