KPD e-Press Release: Detectives Seeking Information in Pharmacy Burglary
General Narrative |
K.P.D. Detectives are seeking information in a recent burglary to a pharmacy in the Indian Springs area of Kingsport.
On December 26, 2013 at approximately 5:30 AM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to a burglar alarm at CVS Pharmacy, located at 5215 Memorial Boulevard in Kingsport. Upon arrival, an initial check of the perimeter of the shopping plaza revealed that an unknown suspect had forced entry into a rear door of the vacant suite next door to CVS. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had climbed into the ceiling of this vacant suite, crossed next door over CVS, and dropped into the interior. There is no indication of anything being stolen from either location, so it is highly likely that the alarm scared off the intruder. Photos of a possible suspect and a possible suspect vehicle captured on video surveillance footage are included in this release. Anyone who may recognize either the suspect or the vehicle, or who may have any information regarding this incident, is asked to contact the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. For additional information, please contact: P.I.O. Thomas M. Patton K.P.D.
