KPD e-News Release: Suspect Sought in Auto Burglary in Mall Parking Lot
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On August 21, 2014 at approximately 12:30 PM, a white male suspect with shaggy brown hair burglarized a vehicle that was parked between the Belk and Piccadilly Cafeteria entrances to the Kingsport Town Center, located at 2101 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport.
The suspect opened the unlocked driver’s door of a vehicle and stole the owner’s driver license and a music CD. He also opened the trunk of the victim’s vehicle but did not take any additional items. The suspect left the scene in an approximately 1990 model, blue, 4-door, Subaru sedan. Photos of the suspect and his vehicle are included in this release. As always, citizens are strongly encouraged to securely lock their vehicles, and remove any and all valuable or otherwise tempting items from the vehicle, or at least take measures to conceal them from plain view. |
