GENERAL NARRATIVE | |||
On December 20, 2015 at approximately 8:30 PM, a white male suspect broke into a vending machine outside of Collins Auto, located at 952 Lynn Garden Drive in Kingsport. The suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and coin from the machine and fled the scene. He arrived and departed in what appears to be a Honda Accord.
The incident was captured on surveillance video, and photos taken from that footage have been included in this release. A clip of the actual video footage has been made available for viewing on the K.P.D. YouTube channel via the following link: Anyone who recognizes this individual or his vehicle is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111. Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link: http://police.KingsportTN.gov/Citizen_Feedback Based upon surveillance images of the suspect and his vehicle, as well as his methodology, Detectives are exploring the possibility that this suspect is the same individual who broke into another vending machine in the area on November 8, 2015.
