KPD e-News Release: K.P.D. Searching for Wrecker Thief Who Was Caught on Camera
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On November 5, 2014 at approximately 11:30 PM, two suspects stole an International roll-back type wrecker from West Stone Wrecker, located at 2005 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. The wrecker was recovered the following afternoon where it had been abandoned in the parking lot of Food City in Church Hill.
After checking surveillance video from businesses in the area of Food City, K.P.D. Detectives have determined that the wrecker was left at that location shortly before 6:00 AM. One individual was caught on surveillance video leaving the wrecker. A photo of him is included in this release. Anyone who may be able to identify this suspect is asked to contact detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
