KPD e-News Release: Detectives Attempting to Identify Female Suspect in Cloned Credit Card Case
GENERAL NARRATIVE |
On November 18, 2014 at approximately 12:15 PM a female suspect used a “cloned” credit card to purchase a $45 pre-paid Visa gift card at the Roadrunner Market located at 4222 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. At the time of the incident the actual legitimate card was still in the possession of the victim. This suspect also used the same “cloned” credit card to purchase over $2,000 in pre-paid Visa gift cards from various Walgreens locations in the Johnson City area. The Johnson City Police Department is conducting a parallel investigation of those offenses.
Photos of the female suspect taken from surveillance video footage have been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes her is asked to contact the K.P.D.
