Friends of the Kingsport Public Library hosts Dr. Bass, Body Farm founder
KINGSPORT – Kingsport, TN (18 march 2012) ‚¬ Friends of the Kingsport Public Library announce the return to Kingsport of University of Tennessees world- renowned forensic anthropologist Dr. William M. (Bill) Bass, Monday, April 9th, at the Dobyns-Bennett Nancy Pridemore Little Theatre.‚ The Theatre doors will open at 6pm for book purchases, book signings, and photos with Dr. Bass.‚ Dr. Bass will speak at 7pm.‚ Tickets ($12; $5 with a valid student id) can be purchased at the Kingsport Public Library Circulation Desk or at the door.‚ Profits from Dr. Bass program will go toward the fund development for the renovation of the Kingsport Public Library.

With a an annual membership of over 350 individuals and families, Friends of the Kingsport Public Library annually provides both volunteer and financial support to the Library. FOLs Books to Your Door is an award-winning program providing library materials to local shut-ins.‚ Each Springtime, FOL brings the Great Decisions multi-week discussion program on American foreign policy.
