As part of the City’s program to modernize its existing infrastructure, its crews will be installing a new system control valve near the intersection of Lynn Garden Drive and Interstate 26 this afternoon, Monday, January 28. In order for this work to be completed, customers in the Carters Valley area (west of Lynn Garden Drive) and some customers in the Bell Ridge Road area will experience either a temporary reduction of their water pressure or a temporary disruption in their water service. This disruption will last approximately one hour beginning around 4 p.m., and the City anticipates this work to be completed by 6 p.m.
During times of water service disruption, the City recommend that customers make any necessary precautions to protect their water system (such as turning off their water heater). If you have any questions, please call (423) 229-9454.
