Update: Utility Improvements in Colonial Heights
KINGSPORT ‚¬ The City of Kingsport will continue water, sewer, stormwater, and road improvements in the Colonial Heights area for the next eighteen months.‚ Sanitary sewer installation work will continue over the next two weeks on Moreland Drive, in the vicinity of the intersections with Shadyside Drive and Nickleby Court.‚ This work is expected to be completed by April 8th.
Work will begin behind the apartments off Kendrick Creek Road (near Tiffany Court) on March 28th.‚ This work is expected to be completed by April 28th.
Merkel Brothers Construction will be the contractor performing the work for the City.‚ The construction zone will be marked by flashing signs and directed by flaggers ‚¬ when required.‚ Drivers are asked to slow down and use caution in the area during this time.
