KOSBE to host SBA loan workshop

KINGSPORT ‚¬ The Small Business Association (SBA) will host a loan workshop on Wednesday, April 30 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The event is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) and Small Business Development Center ETSU ‚¬ Kingsport Affiliate.

The workshop is open to individuals interested in starting a small business, as well as individuals who are already in business.

This interactive training will cover various topics, such as:‚  resources available for small businesses to succeed; the new normal of lending; the latest on crowd funding; and most importantly, how to apply for an SBA Loan, including microloans from $5,000 to $25,000 for startup or expansion.

We are going to cover so much more than the standard norm, said Sue Malone, SBA Lender and one of three speakers at this event. ‚ What I am really going to be speaking about are things which are useful and practical.

Sue Malone is the number one SBA Loan Provider based on volume.‚  She is a lender with Superior Financial of Danville, California.‚  Malone is joined by Mary Hoen.‚  Hoen represents proactive SBA Microlender Pathway Lending.
