KINGSPORT – While area students get ready to head back to class the summer swimming season at the Kingsport Aquatic Center is still in full swing. Beginning August 11, the Outdoor Water Park hours will be adjusted as our lifeguards and staff head back to school.
M/Tu/W/Fr: 1 p.m.-8 p.m.
Th: 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
Weekend hours will remain the same: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Patrons wishing to swim in the afternoon can get an extra hour at half-price. Our half-price admission will begin at 3 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. This special pricing will run M-F through August 29.
On Labor Day the indoor and outdoor facilities will be open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
The Outdoor Water Park will be open weekends in September, weather permitting, and close for the season September 29.
Our year-round activities, including swim lessons, water aerobics and the popular Aqua Run, will continue in our indoor facility. Indoor hours will not be impacted during back-to-school season.
