  The goal of the Kingsport Senior Center Wellness Program is to assist seniors in adopting positive behaviors that will lead to healthier lives and to integrate social, mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellness into everyday life.The Kingsport Senior Center offers area seniors an extensive choice of activities including a variety of exercise classes and a fully equipped exercise room.Other recreational opportunities: Badminton, Basketball, Billiards, Darts, Golf, Horseshoes, Pickle-Ball, Shuffleboard, Table Tennis, Volleyball and many more.

NEW Hiking Club

The Kingsport Senior Center is starting a Hiking Club! We’re also looking for volunteers to help facilitate the hiking club. We have lots of interest and would love to see this program develop. Basic Tai-Chi

The Center will be having Basic Tai-Chi on Monday, August 28 through November 13, 2017 at 9:00am in Room 302. This is a beginner class taught by Robert Buchannan. This class is free, plus, you don’t have to sign up for it! So come join us in learning Basic Tai-Chi!

“Hodge Podge” Tai-Chi

The Center will also be offering “Hodge Podge” Tai-Chi on Monday, August 28 through November 13, 2017 from 10:30am to 11:30am in Room 302. This class will include 20 minutes of tai-chi, 20 minutes of yoga, and 20 minutes of meditation. Bob Buchanan will lead this class. This class is free and doesn’t require sign up, so be sure to stop by for a fun and calming time.

Tai-Chi

If you’re looking for a more intermediate and advanced course, our regular Tai-Chi class will be perfect for you. The class starts Friday, September 1 and lasts until November 17, 2017. The class begins at 9:00am in Room 310. Its FREE and no sign up is required!
