NEWS RELEASE
SUBJECT: Kingsport Detectives Request Assistance in Identifying Team of Felonious Shoplifters
DATE: February 18, 2016
CASE #: 16-002734
GENERAL NARRATIVE
On January 23, 2016 at approximately 8:00 PM a team of three suspects, all white males, shoplifted nearly $700 in merchandise from Wal-Mart, located at 3200 Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport. Two of the suspects loaded a generator and a blender into a shopping cart, and then the third suspect wheeled the cart out of the store with no attempt to pay for the items.

The trio fled the scene in a red vehicle of unknown make or model. Additional information has been obtained that one or more of the suspects may have also been traveling recently in a green Dodge Caravan minivan.

The theft was captured on store surveillance video with photos taken from that footage of all three suspects included in this release. Anyone who recognizes any or all of them is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division by calling 423-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.

Alternatively, if an individual who is able to supply information related to this or any other case wishes not to be identified, tips can be submitted anonymously via online “Citizen Feedback” forms available at the following link:
