SUBJECT: K.P.D. Attempting to Identify Occupants of Hit and Run Vehicle

On February 2, 2015 at approximately 6:45 PM, the Kingsport Police Department’s Traffic Unit investigated a hit and run crash in the parking lot of the Roadrunner Market, located at 1600 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. Witnesses reported that a sport utility vehicle backed into an occupied Subaru Legacy and fled the scene. The occupant of the Subaru was not injured in the collision.

The sport utility vehicle was described as a green Ford Explorer with duct tape on the rear of the vehicle. The occupants of the hit and run vehicle were captured on surveillance video and are shown in the photo included with this release. The white male circled in red is believed to be the driver while the white male circled in green is believed to be the passenger.
