SUBJECT: Detectives Request Assistance in Identifying Couple Who Went Shopping with Stolen Debit Card

GENERAL NARRATIVE
On March 25, 2016 an unidentified white male and white female suspect couple went shopping at Target, located at 2626 East Stone Drive in Kingsport, making three fraudulent purchases using a stolen debit card. The purchases were for $24.51, $32.84, and $183.89. The card owner last remembered using her card earlier that day and was not certain exactly what time it left her possession or how it fell into the hands of the suspects.

A photograph of the suspect couple exiting the store with their ill-gotten gains, taken from surveillance video footage, has been included in this release. Anyone who recognizes either of them is asked to contact Detectives in the K.P.D. Criminal Investigations Division at 42-229-9429 or call Kingsport Central Dispatch at 423-246-9111.
