Ozone Action Partnership Media Day set for May 7, 2014

The Ozone Action Partnership will provide its annual update on regional progress to reduce ozone levels.

Key points to be covered:

• Update on overall performance during 2013
• Current attainment status
• Key steps taken to reduce ground-level ozone

Experts will be on hand to discuss how ozone levels affect the physical health of residents, as well as the economic health of our region. Youll also learn how ozone alerts will be issued this year and how the media can help inform the community about air quality.

A brief presentation and question/answer session will begin at 9:00 a.m. Information packets and one-on-one interview opportunities will also be available.
