The Leadership Kingsport Class of 2013-2014 is now accepting Community Impact Projects through November 15! ____________________________________________ The mission of Leadership Kingsport is to “develop leaders who give life to community dreams.” To ensure Kingsport is the best place to live, work and play, we can help achieve that by assisting individuals, agencies, organizations and civic clubs with a project. Each participant of Leadership Kingsport is required to participate in a Community Impact Project that addresses specific needs from the community or organizations. Class participants will use their talents, skills and professional capabilities while gaining a better understanding of community needs and a deeper appreciation for community involvement. The Leadership Kingsport class will present its projects to the organizations and general public at the end of the Leadership Kingsport class year in May. Approximately four to five projects will be selected, with the selection based on the potential positive impact to the organization and community. ‚ The deadline to submit an application is Friday, November 15.
