| Two suspects have been arrested, and two are still at large in a 4 car, multiple injury, hit and run crash.
On September 13, 2013 at approximately 11:40 AM, Kingsport Police Patrol Officers responded to a multiple vehicle crash with injuries on West Stone Drive in Kingsport. Three vehicles were stopped in traffic on West Stone Drive at Fairview Avenue. The vehicles were sitting in the westbound outside lane, when for unknown reason the rearmost of the three vehicles was rear-ended by a westbound Volvo driven by Robin Kincheloe and occupied by passenger, Allen Light. The impact from the Volvo knocked the rearmost vehicle forward into the two other vehicles. All four occupants in the first two impacted vehicles received non-life threatening injuries, while the sole occupant of the forward-most vehicle was not injured. Immediately after the crash, the Volvo backed up, drove around the crash, and stopped just west of the crash. Ms. Kincheloe and Mr. Light then fled their vehicle on foot. Kincheloe and Light went to the nearby parking lot of Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 1420 West Stone Drive, got into a white Honda Accord, and left travelling northbound on Fairview Avenue. The white Honda was located at a residence a short distance up Fairview Avenue. Two additional individuals, Kayla Clark and Shane Stallard, were found at this residence. When questioned by Kingsport Police Officers, Ms. Clark and Mr. Stallard initially denied ever being at Walgreens, ever seeing the crash, or being involved at all whatsoever. Their deception greatly hindered the investigation and any hopes of apprehending Kincheloe and Light while they were still in the immediate area. The subsequent investigation revealed that Clark and Stallard were in the parking lot of Walgreens and witnessed the crash. When they observed Kincheloe and Light flee the scene, they borrowed the keys to the Honda Accord from the owner (who was inside Walgreens shopping), and voluntarily gave Kincheloe and Light a ride up the road, thus giving them a head start on their getaway. Kincheloe and Light had left the Fairview Avenue residence on foot prior to police arrival. Ms. Clark and Mr. Stallard were arrested and charged with filing a false police report. K.P.D. Patrol Officers scoured the area for Kincheloe and Light to no avail. Warrants have been obtained for both suspects charging Ms. Kincheloe with Driving on a Revoked License and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury, and charging Mr. Light with Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury.
